With this module you can display your Joomla articles on a scrolling News Ticker with marquee effect.

Simply filters the items by category, date, tag, user, etc, and display them on a scrolling News Ticker.

Sets the module with all available options to get a ticker to your liking.

You can configure:

Filter options:

  • Use the following fields to create the articles filter, fields can be combined together.
  • Number of items to show
  • Categories
  • Tags
  • Featured Articles
  • Date Range (in days)
  • Filter by user

Ordering options:

  • Recently Added
  • Recently Modified
  • Recently Published
  • Most popular articles
  • By article order
  • By featured article order

Custom data list: If you want to display your own custom data items you must enable this option, an enter in the textarea the <ul>< li > items. 

Ticker positions:

  • Fixed to top
  • Default
  • Fixed to bottom

  • Blank

  • Black
  • Blue
  • Red
  • Orange
  • Gray
  • Green
  • Purple
  • Brown

Scroll velocity:

  • Very Quick

The ticker works on both left to right and right to left directions, so it now works with arabic languages.


To install this module first download the module, and then install it like any other joomla module in the back end extensions section.
Remember that this module is for Joomla 3.x
